TOUR ITINERARY
8 days / 7 nights across Lake Baikal
DAY 1
Arrival in Irkutsk
Arrival at Irkutsk Airport. Meet your guide at the airport and transfer to a 4-star hotel. Check in to a Deluxe twin or double room. Dinner at the hotel restaurant, followed by time to rest after the flight.

DAY 2
Meet Lake Baikal
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by check-out. Meet your guide in the hotel lobby and travel towards Listvyanka Village.
On the way, visit the Taltsy Museum and discover the history, architecture and traditions of the peoples of the Baikal region. Continue to Listvyanka, where you will enjoy a dog-sledding experience.
After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Baikal Museum and learn about the lake’s unique nature, flora and fauna. The day ends at the Chersky Stone observation deck, offering magnificent views of Lake Baikal and the surrounding mountains.
Check in at the hotel and enjoy dinner at the hotel restaurant.

DAY 3
Explore Lake Baikal Ice
After breakfast, travel across the frozen lake by hovercraft to the sacred island of Olkhon. Along the way, admire endless expanses of ice, majestic cliffs and the famous “Baikal bubbles”.
Stop at Peschanaya Bay to explore its unique natural scenery, walk among the sand dunes, take photographs against the frozen lake and see the famous walking trees. Enjoy a light snack and hot tea with Siberian herbs.
Continue to Buguldeika, where lunch will be served at a local café. Afterwards, travel to Olkhon Island, check in at a hotel located on the shore of Lake Baikal and enjoy dinner.

DAY 4
Explore Olkhon Island
After breakfast, set off by off-road UAZ vehicle to the northernmost point of Olkhon Island — Cape Khoboy.
The first stop will be Kharantsy Village, followed by Peschanka Village, where you will see uniquely shaped Baikal trees. Continue to the Three Brothers Rock and then arrive at Cape Khoboy, one of the island’s most spectacular locations.
During the excursion, enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by nature and taste Siberian drinks served in ice glasses. Return to the hotel in the evening and have dinner at the hotel restaurant.

DAY 5
Buddhist Temple
After breakfast, board a hovercraft for an excursion across the Maloye More, also known as the Small Sea, to the mystical Ogoy Island.
Pass several islands of the Small Sea before stopping at Ogoy Island to visit its stone Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment. Afterwards, return to Khuzhir Village.
Following lunch, explore the heart of Olkhon Island and visit the iconic Cape Burkhan and the traditional Serge Pillars. Return to the hotel and enjoy dinner.

DAY 6
The Golden Horde Ethno-Park
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and travel to Ust-Orda Village. The journey takes approximately four hours.
Upon arrival, visit the Golden Horde Ethno-Park and taste traditional Buryat cuisine. Meet a Buryat family and learn about the lifestyle, customs and traditions of the indigenous Buryat people of the Baikal region.
Enjoy traditional throat singing and take part in a Buryat group dance. Afterwards, travel to Irkutsk, approximately one hour away. Check in at a 4-star hotel and enjoy dinner at the hotel restaurant.

DAY 7
Meet Irkutsk
After breakfast, meet your guide in the hotel lobby and set off on a sightseeing tour of Irkutsk.
Discover the city’s most famous landmarks, including the historic place where Irkutsk was founded, the Znamensky Monastery, the monument to Alexander III, the houses of Irkutsk merchants, the 130th historic district and the beautiful Angara River.
Visit the Volkonsky Mansion and learn about the lives of the exiled Decembrists and their families. The city tour takes approximately three hours.
After lunch at a local restaurant, enjoy some free time to buy souvenirs. Return to the hotel and have dinner at the hotel restaurant.

DAY 8
Departure
Breakfast at the hotel restaurant, followed by check-out.
